I have used Chat GPT to generate code and it did a good job. At the very least, AI code generation will replace a lot of work, and accelerate the productivity of software developers. It could happen that this productivity improvement will be so large that fewer software developers will be needed.
Interesting – and scary – times for the software labor force.
