G/O media will make more AI-generated stories despite critics – Vox
If you use Bing News or Yahoo News, you likely see a LOT of “stories” that are along the lines of “Someone on social media said something to someone and the Internet responds“. These are not news, not even infotainment, but pure entertainment. The byline authors claim to have degrees in English, creative writing, or journalism, and many have Masters degrees in those subjects.
These are “fluff” pieces sourced to anonymous social media posts.
Are these stories already produced by AI? They sure could be! And if they are not, they sure will be!
