Essentially, everyone in the country is at risk for infection now, even if they’re super careful, up to date on vaccines or have caught it before, said Paula Cannon, a virologist at the University of Southern California.

I’ve had 3 vaccination shots plus had Covid, very likely the BA.2 variant. I was scheduled to have a 4th “Booster” in May of 2022 but came down with hepatitis days before the appointment and had to cancel. About six weeks later, I then had Covid (very mild). It is unclear if getting a new multi-variant “booster” will have much benefit and I am now undecided on getting the new vaccine. I am not “anti-vax” – I have had 13 vaccination shots since December 2019. (3x Covid, 3x hepatitis, 2x influenza, 1x MMR, 2x shingles, 1x pneumonia). I was in progress on the hepatitis A+B sequence when I contracted hepatitis.
