Google is said to be a bloated bureaucracy, over staffed, with a focus on diversity hiring and a lean to left-wing politics (those not sharing those views say they keep quiet) – and ultimately losing sight of fulfilling actual customer needs. In other words, the corporate priorities are disconnected from customers.

Some think company co-founder Sergey Brin may step back into a management role to put the company back on track (he previously retired but still serves on the Board).
