Last fall, my United flight was taxing on the taxiway when the pilot informed us that Dispatch needed the plane to return to the gate to pick up a United employee for transfer to our destination airport.

An entire plane load of passengers had to sit, waiting an hour and a half, for one United staff member to arrive at the airport. United’s employees are more important than their passengers time.

On another leg of this trip, I was in basic economy; the passenger next to me had paid extra for more legroom upfront. But United seated him in economy and only his wife got seated up front, so they were split up for the cross country flight. United didn’t refund the $200 extra he had paid for the better seat.

United is not a good experience.
