General Motors Co. will end the seven-year run of the Chevrolet Bolt compact EV and its Bolt EUV stablemate as the company converts a plant in Orion, Michigan, to produce large electric trucks.

Apparently I am the only person in the United States who prefers driving a small vehicle; I have a Honda Fit. Honda still makes the Fit but has discontinued sales in the U.S. Chevy is discontinuing the Bolt EV and its nearest replacement is the mini SUV Equinox, which is larger and will have a base price about 20% more than the Bolt did.

Am thinking it may be years, if ever, before a comparable EV to my Honda Fit becomes available again. The Bolt was acknowledged as a clone of the Honda Fit – and by the specs, it was identical except for being an EV.
