Money was printed starting under Trump, in 2020, to prop up the economy that was crashed by now recognized failed “lockdown” policies. Money printing was continued under Biden. Lockdown policies, at best, merely delayed the spread of Covid (may be or maybe not, until a less virulent form was reached – even this is not clear). They failed, globally, to end the pandemic – but have led to numerous other problems.
