The Biden administration launched – a day early! – a web site for US residents to request 4 free Covid rapid tests.

The web site, however, limits this to 4 test kits per residential address.

Apartment, condominium and other multi-unit dwellers have found they cannot order a test kit if someone else had ordered from their complex.

This means the poor, minority groups and elderly – which may disproportionately live in multi-unit housing, are faced with a hurdle to order the free kits. The above link suggests there may be work arounds to trick the system into approving your order – of course, those tricks may soon be used by others to order more than 4 kits!

Sort of like HealthCare.gov all over again – or Oregon’s Cover Oregon, the $450 million “health insurance exchange” that never enrolled a single individual before being shut down.
