FYI I got interested in demographics in 1996 and began reading books on the subject. The structure of the population has enormous impacts on everything – culture, business, economics, health care, education – our future. But until very recently, cortical demographic changes such as the long time drop in total fertility rate have been ignored by the media and government leadership.
