The economy is likely to grind into slow motion. There are items I would like to purchase, made in China or Japan – but their prices have already shot up and I am not going to pay a national sales tax (tariffs) that cost more than underlying product.
If the tariff situation is not resolved soon, the US economy will fall into a recession and potentially a bad one.
