Dramatic Increases in School Spending Have Not Improved Outcomes for Oregon Students
Also in Oregon, many school districts have continued to increase their number of employees even as the number of enrolled students goes down. Oregon’s fertility rate is 1.39, the 3rd lowest in the nation. A direct effect of that is a decline in school enrollment.
