Good chance there are zero or close to zero nefarious drones as social media and media are flooded with hysterical reports of magical drones over New Jersey – and now also CT, OR, MN, VA, MD, CA, PA, FL, MO, ME, NC, GA, KY, AL, TN, UT, IA, CO, OH, WA, MA, NH – it’s as if there are huge fleets of aircraft flying all over the U.S. at night! Plus Brazil, Germany and Mexico!

We’ve been here before in early 2020: Mass hysteria: Delusions of drone sightings – Social Panic

There were no drones – only hype and hysteria.

Today I saw someone post a blurry night shot video (always blurry and shaky) claiming the drones are now spraying “chem trails”. Anyone with a functioning brain (reminder I am a brain injured idiot) could see that this was a night shot of airliner at altitude with a contrail. But whatever.

There are now people posting videos of firing rifles at the lights in the sky, and one woman posts that her husband was shining a laser at the aircraft. Others on social media, using her location and tracking data, showed that he had shown a laser at a Federal Express cargo plane flying at 4,000 feet.

An airline pilot reports they’ve got 94 reports of lasers pointed at aircraft.

Firing weapons at aircraft – manned or unmanned – or shining lasers at aircraft – are violations of Federal law. People are likely to become hurt from shrapnel or blinded by lasers.

Many New Jersey drones sightings are ‘manned aircraft being misidentified as drones,’ FBI says

How can fleets of drones be taking off and landing every night and we cannot find even one of their airports? As of December 14th, we now have reports from 23 states.

But we cannot find one good photo, one good video, even one good landing zone after weeks of this?

We have the Governor of Maryland saying “I saw one!” and posting his bad cellphone image of the Orion constellation. We have ABC News showing a “glowing orb” – which is actually the planet Venus.

We have a national news outlet showing a photo of lights in the sky – after I did minimal image processing, it turns out to be a helicopter:

Helicopter at night, not a drone

We have Congressional morons calling for shooting down aircraft – yet we don’t have, after weeks, a single confirmation of an actual illegally operated drone aircraft in these sightings?

We have media morons: NewsNation Journalist Reports on Seeing Mysterious Drones Over New Jersey Firsthand. Thank goodness we have experts like him, with his BA in storytelling. He is describing ordinary aircraft traffic in the sky as “drones”. Yellow journalism goes a long way in fueling this nonsense.

We are a nation of idiots who have never looked at the night sky.

Update: One guess is these drone sightings were planted by government agencies to push new regulations: Drone Mystery Raises Pressure for Lawmakers to Bolster Defenses

The government’s authority to take down drones expires on December 20, 2024 – what better way to get more power than by creating The Great Drone Hoax of 2024, knowing the media morons would play along?

And: Federal Agencies Seek Expanded Counter-Drone Powers As Border Incidents Surge

This is what happened in 2018 onward with the FAA and Remote ID for drones (a requirement, that, obviously, failed in 2024, if all these mystery sightings were real). Then, every week brought new reports of “drone near misses” – and FAA reports of “near misses” which ironically covered drones supposedly flying at 25,000 feet – those reports vanished after the new rules mandating Remote ID were adopted. Today we almost never here of “near misses” anymore.

And if the rules accomplished anything, then why has no one used Remote ID receivers to check on these alleged drones?

What’s the difference between a conspiracy theory and reality? About six months.

This is a 100% political manufactured hoax – and its being done by government agencies, industry and public relations firms.

Before this is done, watch for a new law demanding registration of all model aircraft, and licensing of everyone who flies a model aircraft, with a return to the FAA’s original proposal to ban home construction of model aircraft, allowing only the sale of government certified, pre-manufactured model aircraft. That’s where this is going. Even though not one model aircraft has been implicated in these sightings (The Long Island/Boston Harbor incident was found using a drone RID scanner and was not involved in these UFO sightings.)

Simultaneously, the government will ban model aircraft made in China (they almost banned DJI drones, removing the ban in the final draft of the law in December 2024) – so that only U.S. made, government certified model aircraft may be owned and operated exclusively by U.S. licensed drone pilots.

U.S. manufacturers, which produce drones costing 3x to 5x more than those made overseas, will be the winners.
