Protestors shut access to O’Hare Airport this morning, shut the I-5 freeway in Eugene, OR, and shut multiple highways in the SF Bay Area. In many cases, the police viewed their role as protecting the protesters – at least on the Golden Gate Bridge, they – eventually – arrested many protesters.
