Hungary will exempt women who have 4 or more kids from income taxes, for life, will subsidize purchase of larger vehicles for those with 3+ children, and an up to USD 35,000 loan for women under 40 who marry for the first time.
Hungary’s fertility rate is 1.6, well below the 2.1 population replacement level. The U.S. fertility rate is about 1.8 currently.
