Their lack of historical context and understanding is amazing but expected after the media onslaught of 24×7 doomerism:

Throughout history, each succeeding generation has almost always had a better life than preceding generations. But with nonstop 24×7 “Daily Doomer” updates from media telling us that everything is awful, of course the media-addicted younger generation has the highest levels of anxiety of depression ever seen. (Obviously, not everyone in Gen Z is falling into this trap but it does seem that many, perhaps a majority, have fallen into this hole.)

It is sad that powerful forces are, for their own reasons, using propaganda to scare people to death and Gen Z are the victims of this onslaught, and lacking the skills to understand context and to recognize how they are being manipulated for the benefit of others’ agendas.
