In 1999 6% identified as vegetarian – but nearly 25 years later, it’s down to 4%. Yet 9% of those who self-identify as liberal are vegetarian.

The UN’s desire for us to stop eating meat is unlikely to be successful.

It’s common for us to have meat just once or twice per week, and in smaller amounts than we consumed in the past. We are not vegetarian – we just found there were many interesting and good foods to eat. I wonder if more people simply eat less meat than in the past? In any case, it the vegan lifestyle has not taken off, and vegetarian eating is smaller than I expected.

In the past couple of months, the media went from EVs wonderful to no one wants EVs, and eating vegetarian and fake meat is wonderful to no one wants to eat vegetarian.
