I have made some behind-the-scenes changes to improve performance of the web site.
Just one change I will mention is that I blocked three search engines or scrapers from rummaging through all the web site pages, every day.
One or two appear to be “search engine optimization” businesses that are looking for brand-name references that they can link to businesses and influencers. At times, they were slamming the web site and not abiding by time limits specified for well-behaved search engines and content analyzers. They were accounting for 2/3ds of all page access on the web site and impacting web site speed and usability.
I also added a new feature to translate the text into other languages – see the option at the upper right of any page to select your desired language.
