Quadcopters made by Autel are in the target zone of Congress – which already has proposed bills to ban DJI drones in the U.S. Autel is another manufacturer, based in China – both companies make great drones. Without evidence, they hypothesize that Autel and DJI drones could spy and send real time data and pictures from every flight back to China and should be banned in the U.S. Probably 80% of the drones flown in the U.S. are made in China. There are no consumer level drones made in the U.S., thus the effect would be to eventually ground all hobbyist drones.
