CDC is testing international travelers at 4 airports for up to 30 diseases: CDC to expand disease surveillance at four major US airports to include flu, RSV | CNN
They test travelers who voluntarily consent – at 3 airports just for Covid, and now at 4 airports for a lot of diseases.
Due to my lack of trust in the CDC, I will not be volunteering for this.
During Covid there was a study that tested a population sample and found about 7% of everyone had detectable viral infections going on at the time of the test. Unfortunately, I do not have a link to that study. The take away is that having a viral infection is very common.
