While there are serious discussions around air travel issues, I’m not sure he met this to be taken seriously, for obvious reasons: It’s Time To Ban Airplanes. Here’s Why. (matadornetwork.com)

The author has lived in London, Buenos Aires, Beijing, and the U.S. He says he has traveled all over the world. Air travel just sucks, he says, and will allegedly kill us via climate change.

Many people who have traveled extensively now say we should stop flying. The author has a BA in journalism from Penn State, did a Semester-at-Sea global tour/study abroad, and an MSc in Human Rights from The London School of Economics. Combined with his living in multiple countries, he is pretty darned globally elite.

This is a common directive from those who have benefited from global travel – they want us who lack global experience, to stay ignorant of what they know – which sounds a lot like advocating for an elite caste system of the globally experienced versus the untouchable globally ignorant.
