Except for now their aircraft will use conventional oil-based fuels. And only small aircraft of 19 and 70 passenger configurations.

The technology to fly commercial electric flights does not yet exist but is in experimental phases. They say they will swap aircraft engines in a few years when the technology is approved.

In the meantime, the new airline will serve only plant-based foods because better for climate – or may be not: “Lab-grown meat could be 25 times worse for the climate than beef | New Scientist”

This looks like a new virtue signalling start up using what is basically cause-based marketing.
