Walensky lied, publicly saying that Covid vaccinations would prevent infection, yet her email correspondence showed she knew that was not true at the time she said it.

Protests against lock downs were prohibited, protests against church closings were prohibited, and much more was prohibited. But as long as your protest was on the public health approved topic list, protests were fine. Because such protests were more important than “fighting a virus”- “Stay Home. Save Lives. Don’t Kill Grandma.” unless protesting the right topic.
The virus knows what the group get together is about – that’s why a protest could have 100 people but a social gathering just 12 people.
There are many reasons much of the country no longer believes public health “experts” – and 100% of them are because of public health’s own actions and statements, and then ignoring their own mandates and health guidance – see Part 1 and Part 2 of Covid hypocrites. “The Experts” did not believe their own rules – rules were for the unwashed masses, not the technocratic public health elite.
This pandemic lasted as long as most pandemics – 1 to 3 years. It ended once everyone had had Covid-19. The CDC estimated that up to 77% of the population had had Covid by now, and 94% have antibodies due to having had Covid or being vaccinated. They think the reason only 3 in 4 have had Covid might be due to people living in rural, more isolated areas – or perhaps that old “herd immunity” idea had validity?
