In Dec 2022 we are back to “just 15 days to flatten the curve!”
Then just dogs, cats, deer and rabbits would have Covid! And after those two weeks, we get Covid from our dogs and cats. Or the herd of deer on my street each evening. Oh well.
And more hilarity!
For those of you that lived in the sane world and maybe did not see this: the above is true. Where I live, yellow police tape was wrapped around parks and playgrounds. School ball field gates were locked. The local high school tracks were locked off. Gates were closed across rural USFS access roads (I live in a rural region) to prevent access to go hiking. Bike lanes were blocked. Dirt parking lots at very rural USFS and BLM access points were closed. Exercise was largely forbidden for months. Genius!
