When the elite – and in particular, public health elite – work from home, they were immune from their own societal shutdowns. They sat at home outsourcing their risk to (frequently) low paid workers delivering their groceries. In late 2023, the CDC is still doing this.

Public health was out of touch with the negative impacts their policies had on everyone else – and still is out of touch.
