Emigration, war and a plunging birth rate form a ‘perfect storm’

Russia’s population has been dropping for years. Putin’s terror war on Ukraine has resulted in an estimated 700,000, mostly young, mostly skilled, Russians leaving Russia. An estimated 30% of their IT workers have left the country. The war has caused families to stop having babies – this in turn will cause a long term downward trend.
Putin’s goal was to invade Ukraine for their 40+ million population. Instead, he is destroying Russia, long term, as their population craters.
