Rotational actions lead to axonal brain injuries, which can be terrifically bad.
Note – I have had six head and brain injuries including a 5″ long skull fracture, plus 4 additional knockout blows, 2 of which broke bike helmets and other bones, and 1 additional head injury that left me a bloody mess, didn’t knock me out, but left me with “slow brain” and “slow speech” for 2-3 weeks. Due to inept health care, none of these TBI were treated until late in life. Two doctors and one neuropsychologist have described me as a “miracle” that I did so well after all this.
