Energy disaster in Europe may last a decade

The next “5 to 10 winters will be difficult,” Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo warned on Monday as energy prices in Europe soared to new records.

Separately, British Airways announced it is cutting 8% of its round-trip flights this coming winter, due to staffing shortage. That’s about 5,000 flights, mostly in Europe. This will lead to higher air fares too.
