WaPo has criticized grocery and retail stores for using dynamic pricing – but is now accused of doing the same thing.
Yesterday I was trying to learn the price of something – and no where on the public facing web site was the price revealed. If you wanted a price, you need to begin the sign up process to get a quote.
It had not occurred to me that the web site might be using dynamic pricing – trying to figure out how much they could gouge me based on what they know about me.
