Polygamy was historically a way for men to have multiple wives and was considered abusive of women. It is now re-branded as poly-amorous to imply multiple male or female partners. Make this make sense? It is similar to the idea that we now have boys sports and “open category” sports, where boys self identifying as girls, compete with girls. We no longer have girls sports. My brain hurts.
