In spite of climate change, they insist you consume fresh fruits and vegetables year round, shipped, flown and transported from all over the world – so you can eat fresh year-round.

They didn’t check anyone’s nutrient levels – but other studies on the plant-based “planetary diet” (same thing) found that after just 12 weeks, participants saw a one third drop in their vitamin B-12 levels and drops in many other essential nutrients.

Per a 2023 Gallup survey, 4% of the US population claims to be vegetarian and 1% vegan, down from 6% and 2% 18 years earlier. Two other studies found that of the vegetarian group, about said they in fact ate meat or fish periodically, some quite frequently.
