When I fractured my skull, around age 12, they made an appointment to have my head X-rayed (not CT imaging) FIVE DAYS LATER. It was found that I had a 5″ (25 cm) long fracture from my left temple to back behind my left ear. I was later, retroactively diagnosed has likely having a brain bleed.

I was sent home after the initial contact, X-rayed the following week, and then kept in bed at home for weeks.
