Today we learn the “real poverty” level in the U.S. is $140k/year for a family of four,. According to MS Copilot AI and Grok, 75%-85% of US households earn less than $140k/year. Thus up to 85% of the US is living in poverty?

When you account for the actual cost of housing, healthcare, and childcare in 2024, the real survival threshold for a family is ~$140,000.
