Now even DOGS are being told to go vegan! Plant-based foods provide ‘similar nutrients’ to meat-based diets for pooches, vets claim | Daily Mail Online

Reminder – in the U.S., just 4% of the population eats a vegetarian diet (and half of those cheat), and 1% eat vegan per a 2023 Gallop poll survey. This is down from 6% and 2% 18 years earlier.

The following claim is a lie, based on actual population surveys (see “Accidental Vegetarian” in the right most column of this blog).

As plant–based diets gain popularity in human nutrition, the pet food industry is following suit with vegan diets becoming increasingly common.

You are being manipulated by media propagandists to believe things that are provably false. While telling you to avoid ultraprocessed foods, they are simultaneously promoting ultraprocessed foods!

The storyteller for the above is Xantha Leatham, “Executive Science Editor”. She has an MA in journalism and a BA in English language and literature. She has no formal training in any field of science. Yet she was “Deputy Science Editor” and is now “Executive Science Editor”.
