In Oregon, EVs already pay much higher registration and license fees – soon they will have to pay a per-mile fee too – literally turning Oregon roads into toll roads for EVs. Also the tax credits are going away.

General Motors is scaling back and delaying their EV initiatives: GM cuts output, delays work at major EV factories, citing weak demand. Interesting – there is a bit of surge in EV buying in advance of federal EV tax credits expiring on Sep 30, 2025.
Canada is said to be reviewing their EV sales mandate – and that EV sales targets for 2026 have been scrapped.

This year, in March, we had a rock go through our Tesla windshield (about $1300 replacement out of pocket) – when the left (previously ClimateCrisis enthusiasts) began trashing Teslas. They no longer care about climate – trashing other people’s electric vehicles became hip.
I reached a point where the ClimateCrisis appears to be a scam run by grifters and those who want to force global Marxism on us, with our lives ruled by a technocratic elite. They favor bans on all travel, all air travel, bans on eating meat, bans on having pet dogs and cats (they eat 20-30% of the meat supply), demand climate “lock downs”, and some propose ending democracy. I apologize for having fallen for the climate bull shit. After spending over $70k over five years to reduce our carbon emissions, I no longer care and no longer take “climate” into consideration for future decisions.
