A limitation on the study is that it examined cohorts that had Covid earlier in the pandemic, when the virus may have been more virulent.

I had Covid once in mid-2022 (confirmed by test), and then again in the summer of 2024 (test was not available but had same symptoms as everyone else I was with, some of whom were tested). In March of 2025, I had a heart attack that was blamed on “inflammation” as I did not have the usual risk factors.
