It’s onboard solar panel produces up to 700 watts – which is good for those living in sunny areas and not so good for those living in 3- and 4-season climates, or northerly latitudes where sun is limited much of the year.
Looks like a vehicle for southern California, the desert Southwest, and parts of the southern U.S. Solar PV decreases a lot during the winter months in mid to northern states (my house is powered by solar PV and solar input drops dramatically from about late October to mid-March due to both the low sun angle and clouds.)
