The media has never shown interest in the widespread gender imbalances across dozens, if not hundreds, of job categories – see the BLS link above. There are many fields that are biased far more towards women than the field of computer science is toward men.

I have never seen a story about gender balance in nursing or education – two of the largest fields of employment in the U.S.
