This is unsustainable, unsupportable and massively harmful: Why Some Scientists Think We Could Soon Have Climate Lockdowns
They propose restricting all travel, including air travel (NOTE – travel including all personal vehicles, air travel, heavy trucking, and ships at sea account for about 28% of emissions – 72% of emissions would be unaffected!), and mandating work from home (because coddled affluent white professionals can work from home).
This is unworkable and unsustainable – how do we get food on the table? At least 50% of the workforce doess in-person work that makes our lives possible.
Climate lock downs would destroy the aviation industry (they are proposing shutting it down for up to 20 years). No one would study aeronautical engineering in college. Millions of aviation experts would be out of work, and their skills lost. In 2050, we would have to restart an entire industry from scratch – re-start university engineering programs, train new engineers, A&P mechanics, technicians, and pilots. We’d have to renovate abandoned airports back into operation. This process would likely take one to two decades and cost trillions of dollars.
This would wipe out the entire tourism industry, globally, putting tens if not hundreds of millions out of work.
Their proposal would literally kill people and cause devastation to billions of live. The global economy would end up far worse than during The Great Depression.
They recognize the public will resist and call upon a massive public education campaign (propaganda operation) to adopt global rule by a technocratic elite who know everything (basically, global communism – indeed, they refer to global collectivism in their proposal). They argue that individual freedoms must be suppressed – they do not even hide their goals.
The media must be enlisted in a global propaganda campaign: “Media outlets have the power to influence public discourse, highlighting the importance of effective communication strategies in promoting climate action.”

Rather than propose workable, sustainable and supportable solutions – climate scientists use fear and propose solutions that will literally kill millions of people and force most of the world into abject poverty – because, apparently, the goal is not a solution but global communism and rule by climate scientists.
If we are going to be dead anyway – which is what they are saying – then why should do anything at all?
There is no hope, only doomerism and fear.
Taking climate seriously does not mean committing suicide – it means putting forth realistic, sustainable and supportable proposals. There is no reason we cannot make life better – unless the goal is intentionally to make life worse, collapse economies, put billions into poverty and generally kill off humanity, leaving us ruled by climate science technocratic elite who are clearly smarter than everyone else…
