- One change could reduce our global emissions by 17% — but we won’t do it
- Plant-based diets mean cleaner air – and it could save more than 200,000 lives around the world
- Planetary Health Diet associated with lower risk of premature death, lower environmental impact
- Regenivores Are the New Climatarians: How the Trendy Diet Impacts the Planet, The author is an animal rights activist, dedicated vegan and propagandist. Typical of writers, he is an elite, who has attended both Harvard and NYU.
The above, basically, propose in various forms, that we enforce plant-based eating – literally we run a global population wide experiment on humans, without their permission, to end meat eating. Run it for several years and many will suffer vitamin B-12 deficiency..
I tried the vegetarian diet for years and it unfortunately caused me significant health problems and US$6,000 out of pocket expenditures to figure it out.
In the links above there are suggestions to tax meat super high – so only the wealthy elite can continue to eat meat as they fly about the world in their private jets telling us how to live.
Another academic proposes we poison the meat supply so it cannot be eaten.
Another suggested somehow drugging the population in such a way that eating double-bad wrong foods causes people to vomit.
Others note that in the U.S., pet dogs and cats consume 25% of the U.S. meat supply (and 20% globally) and their digestion and nutritional needs require they eat meat – therefore, we should ban pet dogs and cats. (Seriously)
This sounds so supportable and sustainable – people will rush out to follow these elite guidelines!
(Just 4% of the U.S. aims to eat vegetarian, and 1% vegan – per a 2023 Gallop poll, down from 6%/2% 20 years ago. About 10+/-% of some other countries aim for vegetarian eating, although another study found that half of self-described vegetarians eat fish and/or meat anyway.)
