Instagram is down dominated by video as IG has gradually phased out still photos. Therefore, IG, TikTok and Youtube are all now video centric and take the largest share of online time among youth.
Facebook has announced it will be moving to more video centric content including inserting videos and other content in your “newsfeed” that are from people you do not know or follow. Their goal, they said, is to attract more young users – who have largely abandoned Facebook in favor of TikTok.
Textual posts and photos are dead. Everything is now video, all the time.
