Nice view from the aerial camera on a butte to our west. If it wasn’t 99 deg F, it would be a great day to be outside.
In the opposite direction from the above view, there is a wildland fire adjacent to the airport, which happens to be home to an firefighting air base. There are 5 fixed wings and 2 helicopters on the fire. Fortunately, the fire is literally off the end of one of the runways so they do not have to travel far to reload with fire retardant.
