In total day, the network had 396,000 total viewers and 69,000 viewers in the demo[graphic] for respective drops of -2% and -3% compared to the previous week. There was some good news for the network as it topped MSNBC in the total day demo[graphics] by 1,000 viewers.

They news story uses “demo” for “demographic” – that’s why I added [graphic] after each “demo”.

The age 25-54 demographic is important for advertising value – that is the group that is typically spending money.
