Minnesota governor eliminates college degree requirement for most state jobs (msn.com)

I’m so old, I remember when you had to go to a name school, and probably get at least a Masters degree to get a job, and definitely to move up in the organization.

But today, the college degree stamp of approval is no longer mandated – as the demographics of the diminishing youth cohort put labor back in demand, and the need for 3rd party certifications (used to quickly separate out the horde of job applicants of the past) is no longer needed.

Of course, if you watch TikTok or social media, there are plenty of young people insisting that life today is impossible and the older generations had it so easy.
