The incidence of Covid-19 is trending downwards, including hospitalizations. Deaths with Covid, at right, is a lagging indicator. Various estimates say 70-80% of those in the hospital “with Covid” at this time are in the hospital for other reasons but tested positive for Covid.

The news media has been reporting, up through today that Covid cases are rising, even though that is not supported by the metrics.
