Climate rationing:
Britain’s Climate Change Committee (CCC) has urged millions of Britons to not heat their homes in the evening to help the government hit its net zero target.

CCC suggests that people heat their homes (with heat pumps) to warmer temperatures in the afternoon, when electric rates may be cheaper, and bank the heat in the thermal mass of their homes… Britain is set to ban gas furnaces and their replacement, except with electric heating systems.
Interestingly, the Chair of the CCC admits that he heats his own home with gas, not electricity. A bit of a hypocrite.
