Colleges and universities across the U.S. are struggling with declines in student enrollment, but St. Cloud State University in central Minnesota has been hit harder than many others. Over the past decade, the university’s enrollment has fallen by about 6,000 students or 38 percent.

I would not be here but for St Cloud State College (predecessor to St. Cloud State University).

My Dad and Mom were both on the faculty of St Cloud State College and met there, going on to get married and raising 4 kids.

These numerous examples of schools and colleges closing, that I have featured on the blog, are examples of the impacts of our population demographics and the decline in children.
