“It turns out that different races have different numbers of receptors, and that virus binds to several receptors. This is speculation, but the death toll in Germany suggests it could be true. In the Czech Republic, about a third of us are Germans, so the number of dead might not be as high as it is, for example, in southern nations,” says deputy Roman Prymula.
