Up to 90% of the US population has had Covid by now, say some official estimates. Hard to understand what the goal is here – per reports, older variants are propelling the spread in the China’s largely unvaccinated, immune naive population.

But what do I know – I’m a brain injured idiot with insufficient initials after my name and Blue Check.

Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH on Twitter: “We can’t stop the spread of #COVID19, but pre-departure testing and the requirement to show a negative test result when flying from China to the U.S. can help slow the spread as we work to identify and understand any potential new variants. Read the Order: https://t.co/HHydiFh07E” / Twitter

And in the comments to that, the usual – “I did everything right but still got Covid”. We need to quarantine forever!

And we should do far more of what didn’t work the first time – just 15 more days!

Public health has no clue had idiotic they look at this point. No country with honest data stopped the spread of Covid – every one of them eventually succumbed to the spread of Covid. Every one of them.

And then it gets hilarious (she is serious by the way) – spreading a disease for which we’ve found no sustainable way of stopping the spread – is immoral!

And this “model” output from a scientist might be worth a follow-up?

Separately – for 3 years I have saved the posts of professionals trashing each other in public. Name calling, doxing each other, trashing other because of differing perspectives does not inspire public confidence in public health or science.

In case this sociology professor deletes the tweet
