No microwave needed: Get ready for “thaw and eat” foods
Does anyone still cook real food, from raw ingredients?
I do – probably 90% of what we eat is from raw foods like beans, lentils, grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, eggs, meat – and minimally processed other stuff on occasion such as cheeses.
As pointed out by others, there’s perhaps 25-50 cents worth of grain in the $5 box of cold cereal. Oatmeal is just fine for breakfast. And its cheap!
