WaPo says the U.S. must import vast numbers of immigrants to contend with the birth rate decline. They then do a mashup of political issues, conflate illegal immigration with legal immigration and conflate low skilled immigration with high skilled immigration. The result has WaPo politicizing the declining fertility rate while simultaneously saying this should not be a political issue.
It’s a very poorly thought out and poorly written opinion piece by WaPo.
